ODEITH – The Portuguese essence of graffiti.

Born in Lisbon in 1976. He started drawing when he was only 10 years old. Since then the desire to draw better and to become recognized did never stop. His early years were devoted to bombing in walls in Sintra line. In 1998 he began to devote himself to large murals in areas of Damaia, Lisbon and Carcavelos and that year he was invited to join the crew WCB with Wize and Youth.
The passion for drawing led him to enter the world of tattoos and in 2000, a year after making his first tattoo, he openned his own studio in Benfica, “eith Studio” (which was shut down in 2008) . During this time he continued to paint the walls of the city, always with the aim of improving their craft and this is how in 2005 he created a style of painting known as “Anamorphosis – Anamorphosis.”

An anamorphic painting is to create an optical illusion effect observed from a particular angle. Due to the complexity of angles, lighting and perspective, is a style practiced by few artists. Odeith without any academic education, but provided with great determination, adds to this concept of painting another notion, a “multiple surfaces”, for example, 90 degree corner, visual effects passing the wall to the floor or even a fifth set of walls.
Currently he is part of the crew LGN (Legionnaires) with Nomen, Vile and Molin.
