Brazilian artist Andre Muniz Gonzaga aka Dalata has taken street art to
another level. His artwork revolves around the idea of broken and
forgotten pieces of nature, but puts a positive spin on it by creating
abstract art.
He breathes a new life into these broken and forgotten pieces by
using their brokenness to show their fragile yet strong potential for
beauty.
For Dalata, street art is not just drawing on the walls of buildings
or on concrete. Street art is more than that. It gives him a chance to
showcase the idea that art can be found anywhere -even in the worst and
most broken conditions. With his art work, Dalata has certainly given a new meaning to “a whole new world”.
