ROA – The street art activist.

Roa, a hugely talented Belgian street artist from Ghent, is renowned for his giant black and white animal street art. Roa started off in the street art scene painting animals on abandoned buildings and warehouses in the isolated industrial areas of his hometown. Today, Roa’s animals may be found slumbering on the sides of semi derilict buildings and peering out from shop shutters in citiy streets all accross the world from New York to Berlin and Warsaw to Paris.

The artist has visited London a couple of times, each time leaving his mark. His animals can be seen hibernating across the cracks of walls in Shoreditch and Brick Lane.  The works often take many hours to paint due to the huge scale and highly intricate nature of ROA’s street art. Consequently, most of his pieces are done with permission which means that his work usually sticks around on the street for a while (notwithstanding the efforts of local London Councils).

ANDRES AMADOR's Stunning Sand Art

Andres Amador takes sand art to epic proportions on the beaches of San Francisco. Using an assortment of what appear to be garden rakes the artist shapes sand banks into beautiful art works with mass appeal.

ORTICANOODLES: God Bless Stencil

Orticanoodles is the pseudonym for two Italian artists, a very active and tight-knit duo, composed of Wally and Alita.

Wally was born in Carrara, where he attended Art School and in 1996 he moved to Milan to attend the course in Advertising Art Direction at IED (European Institute of Design). Here in Milan, he met Alita.  Both in love of the stencil technique, they began to create drawings and handmade posters, quickly making themselves known in the street-art world.

In 2004, they start their first illegal actions in the street, stickering and pasting up posters. In their laboratory, situated in the Ortica district in Milan, Orticanoodles logos took shape. With the subversive power of Zibe, Orticanoodles started a blazing activity in the streets, soon evolving into a real urban guerrilla campaign.

STEVE LOCATELLI

Steve Locatelli was born in Brussels. His passion for graffiti comes from the 90s. He started in the Brussels metro. Graffiti is truly a passion for this young artist who often plays with the boundaries of the forbidden. His works from the nineties and so on are often visible in places ‘illegal’. In 1998, the city walls have become exclusive places to let young people express themselves through this new art. It is at this point that he could give free rein to their imagination and develop his style.

VHILS – Street Art is about innovation!

VHILS is the tag name of Portuguese graffiti/street artist Alexandre Farto (born in 1987) He gained prominence when his work of a face carved into a wall appeared alongside a picture by street artist Banksy at the Cans Festival in London in 2008.

He manipulates a variety of surfaces to create his extraordinary vision. From the brick facade of buildings to peeling off layered flyposters, he reveals images that explore the sub-cultures and dynamism of a city.

A charismatic guy coming from Bali, situated for now in Athens gives as a new vibe. Deeply politically influenced, with tones of style in his hands he has been dominating the Athenean walls for some years now. By avoiding publicity and leaving his work speak for him WD has manages to convey his revolutionary vibe. Enjoy!

NOE TWO: Breathtaking Graffiti Artist from Paris

 Noe Two is an artist born in 1974, from Paris. It grows close to the ground wave Chapel, Theatre of the birth of Graffiti movement in France. He is a member of a group that his mark in the history of the French school: RAW (Real Authentik Writa). Noe two chose his stage name in reference to the biblical Noe. As the ark home to all animals, his work covers different approaches in graphic and pictorial compositions. 

Operating since the late eighties, it is an emblematic figure of French Graffiti, and one of the artists most full of his generation. His art unfolds on frescoes and paintings. But also in the field of graphic design: 3D modeling, photo montages and videos. 

Distinguished Artist, he pushes the limits of realistic paint bomb (spray). Its use and control dire impressive return of realism portraits on the wall as supports and canvas. In recent years, Noe Two abandoned this style to explore other possibilities. He works on an interpretation less realistic and more abstract composition with a very graphic. His works are constructed by a set of shapes, curves and colors that match.Graffiti plays with his collection of preset codes and rules. Noe Two is present on the international scene for over two decades. He participates in projects, events and sales auction in essential places and recognized artistic creation in the United States, China and Europe.

NYCHOS THE WEIRD - Some Extracts of his Amazing Work

The Austrian Illustrator and Graffiti artist NYCHOS, who is mainly known for his prolific street art concept the Rabbit Eye Movement, is set to rock the foundations of the London establishment, combining his original comic styling with heavy metal attitude.

INSTALLATIONS ATTACK PEOPLE by Filthy Luker

Filthy Luker is a painter who is really attacking his audience. Who could think that a green octopus suddenly starts to creep out from the windows, a huge banana rind lounges just in the center of a road and the trees starts to see! 

The painter transform the urban environment making the tortured inhabitants stiffen with astonishment in front of a merrily winking water pipe, a sad TV which was thrown out by its owner or a large-toothed rubbish bin. 

This art is sparkling with humor, recklessness, it shocks you and force to look at the world in a new way.
