Abstract 'Street Arting' by KEF

Born in Aachen, Germany in 1989, KEF is working his way up with his one-of–a-kind street-art paintings and abstract works.
In his youth he painted traditional graffiti – which became to monotone for him after discovering street art. In 2005 KEF developed two very unique characters with which he invaded the European street art scene. In 2009 KEF transformed his two characters into more abstract figures – which he then painted onto a variety of different surfaces or as large scale murals.

STREET ART BY DOLK

Dolk Lundgren, or simply Dolk (Norwegian for dagger/knife), is a Norwegian stencil artist whose work has rapidly gained popularity since first being introduced to the masses via the Wooster Collective and Pictures on Walls (POW). Dolk’s profile from Stencil Revolution lists his occupation as “fluffer” and states his interests as “stencils, painting, exploring, sex”. His work has been exhibited in London, Berlin and the NUART Festival at Stravanger in Norway. Dolk’s early works were often attributed to Banksy due to similarities in style. But Dolk has since established himself as a master of the stencil in his own right.

CZARNOBYL: Stencil Art

Born 1974 in Poland, he lives and works in Berlin since 1993.
Already in 1990 he began to take an interest in to cutting stencils to express his feelings and ideas. It seems like Czarnobyl’s works want to remind us of the technological progress and its’ unfulfilled promise of a better future. His creatures are completely torn, lonesome but oppressive as well as nostalgic and not yet in a common sense beautiful.
Czarnobyl’s protagonists appear much more as mutated outsiders of an evil and unequal game like the mutants of the Megapolis.

BELGIAN GHOST TOWN Becomes Street Artist’s Playground

The 700 year old Belgian town of Doel has become a ghost town. Other than some squatters and a handful of diehard citizens, the town is uninhabited and will be demolished. Doel didn’t become this way because of any typical reasons like lack of employment, rather the government has ordered the citizens to vacate their beloved town in order to make room for the expansion of nearby Antwerp harbor.

Since the forced departing of its residents the town has become something special – a blank canvas to street artists from across Europe, who have left their beautiful creations on the bricks and rubble of its abandoned buildings.

STREET ART IN KYRGYZSTAN

Here's what Aida Sulova has to say about the project:
"I wanted to raise awareness about the rampant garbage problem in Kyrgyzstan, I found that the ugly trash cans in the city can actually serve as a nice canvas to express my concern. I made a series of large photographs of the wide open human mouth and I placed them on the sides of the garbage cans around the city. So they would remind people that what they throw into the world, eventually ends up inside us."
